Hebrews 3

Even though Jesus was God, he also was a human and destroyed the devils grip on us. Jesus paid for the sins of all people because on he (a Son of God) had enough to offer to pay God back for the things we did to Him. Jesus remained faithful to the end – for our sake, not his own.

Notice Jesus is THE "high priest" of our faith and greater than even Moses. There is another warning about not believing (taken from Psalm 95.) Unbelief keeps us from the riches of God just like in the case of the Hebrews who wandered in the Wilderness for 40 years. Don't rebel against God! Notice that a group is addressed and this is not an individual who is addressed. Christianity is a group (not private) lifestyle.
